Joe Valenzuela holds down the backbeat for Group Therapy and adds flair and personality to the band. His enthusiasm comes through full-force whether playing Aretha's "Chain of Fools" or "Lights" by Journey. Joe is also the business manager for the band. He is the band's clock and this train is always running on time!
Jim Berg lays down the bass for Group Therapy. Starting as a guitarist and keyboardist, he took up the bass last and found his true calling. Jim's excellent tone and soulful playing helps keep people on their feet. He has been in a number of popular Sacramento area bands over the years including "MugShot", "Section 8" and "Run for Cover". He is inherently musical and does most of the unique arrangements you hear the band playing.
Vince Hernandez has been lead guitarist for many bands over the years. Starting out in the early eighties with Captured, Eclipse, Roni and the Flight, Halie and the All-Stars. Vince is a master at figuring out how the original guitar parts were played and then performing them with soul and great tone. He specializes in a melodic blues-based rock style. Once you hear Vince, you'll want to hear more!
